SHIVERS
Copper objects, hand-made analogue synthesizers, vibration speakers, amplifiers, cables
2020
Shivers is a sound installation in which copper is treated as both sculptural material and sounding body. Copper objects placed on vibration speakers and connected to hand-built analogue synthesizers create an evolving sonic environment shaped by resonance, repetition, and subtle shifts in frequency.
This work marked an early turning point in my practice, bringing sound and materiality together in a more focused way. It initiated my deeper engagement with material research and with the relationship between sculptural form, resonance, and sonic experience.
